About Lori's Platform

Board

Transparency

School boards are often overlooked as elected bodies unless there is a problem. Lori believes in transparency and that their parents/teachers/and residents should be informed of what is occurring so that there are never reacting to "surprises".

Increased

Involvement

As a Resident, Lori noticed there was little interaction between the Board of Ed and the school community.  Her goal is to increase board meeting attendance  by residents and stakeholder as well as attend school events as a board member to see first hand what is happening and increase communication.

Unique

Prospective

As an experienced teacher with degrees in educational leadership, Lori understands and sympathize with several groups of stakeholders which places her in a position to push for solutions that are best for everyone involved.
